The illustrious journey of Xavier Edwards, now a distinguished infielder for the Miami Marlins, traces back to his transformative years at North Broward Preparatory School. On February 12, a historic moment unfolded as Edwards became the first athlete to have his jersey number retired, marking a monumental milestone in the school’s athletic history. The ‘18 graduate jersey #9 will now be displayed on the outfield fence in the left-center field.
